Who we are

Spring Back is the UK’s only organisation focused exclusively on how employers support working parents, and now also work globally.

Founded in 2023, we created Returnity™ to close a clear gap in the employee experience: the transition into and back from parental leave. This is one of the most important career moments, yet too often it is under-supported, inconsistent and treated as a personal issue rather than a business priority.

We work with employers to change that.

Through specialist Returnity™ Coaching and Line Manager training and certification, we help organisations retain talented people, strengthen return-to-work outcomes and make outstanding support for working parents standard.

Our mission is simple: make Returnity™ recognised, valued and embedded in workplace culture — and make sure the money you spend on enhanced family leave actually works.

Our focus

Retain working parents

We help employers reduce avoidable attrition by supporting working parents before, during and after parental leave.

Equip line managers

We train and certify managers to safely handle parental leave and return-to-work conversations with clarity, consistency and confidence.

Strengthen talent strategy

We help organisations turn parental leave from an isolated HR process into a structured part of retention, progression and workforce planning.

Returnity™ is what makes maternity and paternity packages work

Partnerships

With over 15 years in Technology Sales, Vanessa has built a successful career at CA Technologies, Huddle, and most recently MongoDB, where she spent seven years managing large Enterprise Accounts and leading the Google partnership across Northern Europe.

After having children, she experienced first-hand the challenges of returning to full-time work - a challenge that disproportionately impacts women, who remain underrepresented in the workplace, particularly at senior levels.

Now as Head of Partnerships at Spring Back, Vanessa works with organisations to better support returning parents and help them retain the talented people they don’t want to lose.
